Co-founder & Creative Head, Impact Consultant & Producer
Sonia is a Swiss-Indian writer, director, therapist, and social entrepreneur whose work bridges storytelling, healing, and grassroots impact. She founded Touching Lives, an NGO in Mumbai supporting children and families through education, mental health, and the arts, and later expanded its vision to Switzerland—building a global impact community through art, mentorship, and support for grassroots initiatives. An author of fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books—including Everyone Can Heal and 365 Days of a Sufi—her writing explores the human psyche, metaphysics, and emotional resilience. Her short film SPACE premiered at the Traverse City Film Festival; she is a HessenLab fellow, Best Story awardee for PILOT, and co-producer of the feature documentary Child of Nature. Known for blending intuitive insight with cinematic craft, Sonia’s mission—whether through a screenplay, a healing process, an impact consultation, or a grassroots initiative—is rooted in one guiding purpose: to build bridges between the inner and outer world, and to use story as a portal for collective evolution.
